Answer: this could indicate dirty or dusty brakes worst case fault brake pad or shoe linings.
2. When I apply my foot brake pedal I can here a grinding noise:
Answer: This is due to metal to metal contact which means your brake pads or brake shoe linings have worn so low its now brake on the metal brake pad backing (urgent replacement needed).
3. When I brake my car suddenly pulls to one side?
Answer: This can indicate brake binding on which is normally caused by a collapsed brake hose or sticky brake caliper this type of fault can be serious due to the fact your brake can overheat and cause brake fade where the brake fluid can boil inside the brake caliper and cause you to loosing your brake all together
4. When I brake I can feel my car or van juddering?
Answer: This usually means your brake discs have worn and become warped as brake discs where over time the metal on the brake discs becomes thinner this can also unbalance the disc badly warped discs can show when you apply your brake pedal and it pulsates under your foot when you apply your brake (note don't get this confused with normal operations of the ABS system which does the same thing.)
